Ways to Detoxify and Rejuvenate Your Body

Ways to Detoxify and Rejuvenate Your Body

If you’re looking to detoxify and rejuvenate your body, you’ve come to the right place! The following nine ways will help you out with cleansing your body of toxins and replacing them with nourishing vitamins and minerals. This will leave you feeling energized, well-rested, and ready to take on life!

Get 8 hours of sleep

One of the best ways to rejuvenate your body is by getting enough sleep. Most people need around eight hours of sleep per night, although some people may need more or less. Getting a good night’s sleep can help improve your mood, increase your energy levels, and boost your immune system.

 Exercise 3 times a week

1. Exercising three times a week is one of the best ways to rejuvenate your body. It gets your blood flowing, your muscles working, and your heart pumping. Plus, it releases endorphins, which have mood-boosting benefits.

2. If you’re new to exercise, or if you’ve been inactive for a while, start slowly. Begin with just 10 minutes of moderate activity a day and increase gradually as you feel more comfortable.

Eat breakfast daily

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It jump-starts your metabolism, provides you with energy, and helps you focus. A healthy breakfast includes protein, whole grains, fruits, and vegetables. Skipping breakfast can leave you feeling tired and sluggish throughout the day.

Drink 2 litres of water

There are countless benefits to drinking water, including flushing toxins from the body, improving skin complexion, and boosting energy levels. Drinking two litres of water per day is a great way to detoxify and rejuvenate your body. Here are ways to make sure you're getting your daily dose of H2O.

A) Put a pitcher of water on your desk at work so that it's the first thing you see when you look up.

B) Buy a refillable bottle (or two!) to take with you everywhere

C) Set an alarm on your phone or computer as a reminder to drink some H20 every hour or so

D) Try drinking warm lemon water in the morning - it helps with digestion and can give your immune system an extra boost.

 E) Take deep breaths before bedtime

F) Hydrate during workouts

G) Add fresh fruit slices to plain water for a refreshing treat!

H) Drink herbal tea

I) Fill a glass jar with filtered water and keep it by your desk

J) Don't forget to drink water when eating - always have a glass handy

K) Cut back on sugary drinks

Use hydrating products in your skincare routine

One of the best ways to rejuvenate your body is by using hydrating products in your skincare routine. This will help lock in moisture and keep your skin looking healthy and radiant. Here are a few of our favourite hydrating products

Cut out sugar

Sugar is one of the most detrimental substances to our health. It's addictive, it's damaging to our metabolism, and it's pro-inflammatory. And yet, we consume it daily in the form of processed foods, candy, and even healthy snacks like granola bars. If you're serious about detoxifying your body, then cutting out sugar is a great place to start. Here are a few tips:

1)      Read labels carefully and avoid anything with added sugar.

2)      Replace sugary drinks with water or herbal tea.

3)      Learn how to cook without using any refined sugars (hint: there are plenty of sweeteners that don't contain sugar).

4)      Look for opportunities to use natural sugars such as honey, maple syrup, fruit juice concentrates, agave nectar and molasses.

5)      Avoid excess alcohol intake which can lead to increased sugar cravings.

6)      Give up fast food. Fast food isn't just unhealthy because of the high amounts of sodium and fat, but also because of all the hidden sugars that come from things like mayonnaise, sauces, salad dressings and ketchup.

7)      Cook at home more often so you can control what goes into your meals and snacks.

8)      Eat breakfast every day!

Use stress-relieving products in your skincare routine

A good skincare routine can help relieve stress and tension from the day. Incorporating products that help detoxify and rejuvenate your skin can help you feel refreshed and more relaxed.

1. Use a gentle cleanser morning and night to remove makeup, dirt, and oil.

2. Exfoliate a few times a week to slough off dead skin cells and reveal brighter, smoother skin.

3. Apply a face mask once or twice a week to give your skin a nourishing boost.

4. Drink plenty of water every day - not only will it help flush toxins out of your system, but it will also keep your skin hydrated by preventing dryness.

5. Limit sugar intake to avoid breakouts and prevent clogged pores.

6. Treat yourself with at-home spa treatments like masks, scrubs, and exfoliating pads to pamper yourself without spending any money.

Alkalize your body

The first step to detoxifying your body is to alkalize it. This can be done by eating alkalizing foods, such as leafy greens, and avoiding acid-forming foods, such as processed meats. Drinking plenty of water will also help to alkalize your body. You can also try adding a green juice or smoothie to your diet.

Boost your immune system with immunity-boosting plants

Plants like echinacea, astragalus, and garlic can help fight off sickness by boosting your immune system. These plants can be found in supplement form at your local health food store.
